This week I did exactly what I promised myself I would never do. I promised myself I wouldn’t stop posting all the time when I got a job. A few weeks ago I decided I was going to start posting daily again and yet…well, I started my job and failed miserably.

The good news is that I love my job. It’s perfect for me. My OCD has been given free range to just get all sorts of crazy and whip everything into tip top fully organized, alphabetized, color-coded awesomeness. I spend all day heaving enormous sighs at the state of things, and I have to remind myself I was hired because things were a mess. It’s my job to clean it up. I love it. I often feel like this character from Lilo and Stitch (Cobra Bubbles) when he says, “I am the one they call when things go wrong. And things have indeed gone wrong.” (fast forward to 1:48):

It’s nice to be needed, that’s for sure.
