You may have guessed already that I did not win the free blog redesign that I posted about and tweeted about more times than I was really comfortable tweeting about…still, Liz (formerly in DC, not that she’s not still in DC but now she’s in Limbo…anyway) spent her snowpocalypse creating a new blog layout at which point I had the itch and then I didn’t win a free one so I was really jonesing…

And so, royal subjects, I had to do it the old fashioned way: by myself. Now, I  have a new layout. I like it because it’s clean and not all pink and fluffy. Don’t get me wrong, I like pink and fluffy but the old one was starting to give me hives from the kitsch (oy that word hurts me just to type it). I mean, it was cute and while cute is great fun I just felt like it was time for a change.

There are more changes afoot. It’s a new year, new things are happening in my life and I needed a fresh look to go with all of it. So if you’re in a feed reader, come on over for a change and let me know what you think!

Also, if you would like to be added to my blogroll (or removed from it, though I know no one ever would) please find a way to let me know. Hot Air Balloon is my preferred contact method as of late, but I do mildly tolerate other forms of communication as well, like comments ; )

For now, you can see the newest addition up there on the menu bar -> the Facebook Page! There are already 59 awesome people who are Facebook fans of me, might as well join up while the joining is good. And then someday when I’m really famous you can say “Oh, yeah, I’m a fan but I have to say I prefer her old stuff a lot more to this new stuff. It was so much more real, you know?” and you’ll totally have a ton of blog cred.
